Heidi...

I have never watched any cartoon... They always seemed too artificial to me. I never quite grasped the idea of liking a cartoon. There is one exception... Heidi. I adore that cartoon.. I would stay glued to the television whenever 'Heidi' was telecast.

Heidi was a girl who had gone to stay with her grand-father for a while. Her grand-father lived uphill, in an isolated small house. There were rumours in the village that he was a magician. He always kept to himself. But he was the best grand-father. She starts living with her gandpa. He is a person not used to smiling... But with Heidi around, he could never stop smiling. So the things Heidi did in that isolated place.. The people she met. The mischiefs she did was the story...

Heidi looks sooo pretty. I have always found her happiness very contagious. The way she cries, laughs and plays... So adorable! The way even the most simple things make her happy is really nice to watch. I love her bedroom and the view from her bedroom window.

Heidi, grandpa and Joseph (the very cute dog) makes a wonderful family. The all-too-tough but soft-at-heart grandpa only made the cartoon more enjoyable. When his grand-daughter was jumping, laughing and playing around... He will take the role of a silent spectator. He would make her toys out of wood.

Then there was Peter, a shepherd boy... Heidi's best friend. He played with her. He took her to beautiful places. He taught her wonderful games. He always made sure she was happy. He was her best mate

After watching this cartoon, one can't help wishing for the peaceful happy life...
