LIFE...

A friend called me 'naive'.. I thought it meant innocent. I agreed with her.

But after knowing the in depth meaning of the word...

'too willing to believe that someone is telling the truth, that people's intentions in general are good, or that life is simple and fair'

Now, do I agree with her?
Unfortunately, I do. I am naive. I usually assume that everyone means good to others. My most famous statement is 'Life is simple.. never complicate it...'. Now when I come to think of it, I feel it was an arrogant statement. Being in India, the statement seemed more arrogant. People are struggling for one meal a day. Children are malnutritioned. The hunger death is widely prevalent. Every victory is hard earned. I am not naive anymore... having realized how cruel life could be.
